OUR APPROACH TO THERAPY

PsyVitalitï is proud to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as the main approach to our services. Our therapists in Mississauga are all trained in the use of CBT to treat a range of mental health conditions and in many other circumstances where it is effective. It is a short-term form of therapy that allows you to deal with situations quickly and get you feeling better as soon as possible.

WHAT IS COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY (CBT)?

CBT is a therapeutic approach that looks at our thought and behaviour patterns and offers tools and skills to cope with mental health conditions and other challenges. It is a goal-oriented talk therapy that has been found effective in a multitude of studies.

We treat a range of issues, conditions, and problems, including symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Conquer Depression

Depression usually manifests itself through feelings of overwhelming sadness, increased irritability, and a loss of interest in day-to-day life. If you’ve been experiencing these symptoms you may be suffering from depression. You can take our online depression self-test and from here, you will better understand your treatment options and how PsyVitalitï can help.

Our Mississauga therapists have lots of experience in treating anxiety using CBT.
